Wolves, lynx, and wolverine all make their home in the forests of Alaska as well as a long list of other mammals ranging from foxes and marmots, to beavers, caribou, and the mighty moose.  Coastal waters support the great whales who come to the rich waters to feed and are common sights along the coastal towns and villages tucked away in the states many bays and fjords.  These waters are home to an array of marine life, sea otters, puffins, seals, and sea lions, as well as resident pods of orcas that make wildlife tours by boat so popular for both locals and tourists.
